Pecan Springs Snack & Salsa Co. is inspired by the bold, savory, spicy tastes of Texas we enjoyed while growing up in Coleman, and by our family’s cattle ranch, Pecan Springs, located just outside Coleman.

 

Our very first brother / sister creation was a spicy marinade our dad (Hershell Wilson) encouraged us to mix up when he grilled steaks. Little did we know this would later launch our brother / sister venture! 

 

Family gatherings weren’t complete without the dangerously delicious Texas Salsa our mom (Netta McCord Wilson, aka “Mims”) made, and Christmas wasn’t complete without the savory, spicy Texas Trash our grandmother (Billie McCord, aka “Gran’mere”) made. 

 

After years of gifting our Texas Trash and Texas Salsa to friends, their encouragement and requests for more of our recipes inspired us to launch Pecan Springs Snack & Salsa Co. Many of our fans call our savory and spicy snacks dangerously delicious and addictive!

 

Our hope is to bring a little spice into your home, one snack at a time!
